Six on Saturday #3

For this week’s six on Saturday (it is still Saturday right?) I decided to do a quick macro study of leaves. Found some pretty good stuff outside and two from inside.

Pink edged leaves of a sedum.
Still pink egded, still sedum but such different leaves.
Smoke bush leaves in the sun.
Heuchera veiny leaf.
Nepenthes pitcher plant modified leaf tips.
Sarracenia pitcher plant modified leaf.

Thanks again to The Propagator for Six on Saturday

  2. What a great Idea to photograph leaves – particularly like your carnivorous plants.

There’s always something wonderful in the garden if you look hard enough. Thanks for the lovely photos.

Agreed, I’m constantly fascinated (and distracted) by what’s out there!

Your pictures are so beautiful Kashcah. I really enjoy the subject matter and your framing and focus truly enhances the colours and forms.

They’re all beautiful, but the smoke bush is my fav. Or maybe the pitcher plant. Nope, it’s the heuchera . . . o geez, I love them all. That macro photography is really great, isn’t it?

It is tough not to go for a macro πŸ˜€
