Going clockwise from the top left: Daffodil with tiny, unexpected stow away Anemone Heuchera leaves (can’t remember the variety ☹️) Lemon thyme Bluebell (of course 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿) Honeysuckle with fruit from last year Gooseberry with daggers for thorns! Pieris deadheads I’m really enjoying watching the palette change as spring settles in. It’s also taking a lot of willpower not to sell my husband and spend the proceeds on plants 😉 I keep reminding myself that I can’t take them with me when we move… well not all of them…

Finally the weather cooperated for Morning Light the topic for day 7 of #homscastchallenge The clouds are moving fast today because it’s incredibly windy! #homscastphotos
Aaannnd I’ve fallen a day behind -_- Day 6 is Rule of Thirds. Here’s the tiny lighthouse in the harbour at the end of the road. My current favourite place. It’s a cracking day today and if I could I would spend the day down at the harbour. A flask of tea, a good book and wee dog would be perfect company for watching the fishing folk come and go. #homscastchallenge #homscastphotos
Day 5 is Black and White. It’s been pretty rainy all day today (what the locals would call a dreich day). Luckily I received some lovely flowers today as a house warming gift and they were just what I needed on multiple levels! #homscastchallenge #homscastphotos
